Puzzles and games that teach the mind to think
Two Smart Games by Dr. Edward de Bono
|
Edward de Bono's L-Game and 3-Spot are games of pure skill, designed to improve thinking skills. Created by Dr. Edward de Bono, leading international authority in creative thinking and the direct teaching of thinking as a skill, L-Game and 3-Spot are never the same game twice. Challenging as chess, yet as easy as playing tic-tac-toe, they are two of the simplest real games ever invented. Learn to play in minutes. Two games for the price of one. In L-Game the objective is to move an L-shaped piece and a neutral piece to block the other player's pieces. There are 16 squares on the board with 18,368 possible moves. In 3-Spot the objective is to move the pieces to cover the spots on a nine square board. The unique feature is: a player can, at any time, change strategies from an offensive tactic to a defensive one, or vise versa, and WIN! 3-Spot is the first Social Justice game. A player does not necessarily win by scoring the most points. In fact, if the player does forge ahead to reach the required 12 points first, he may lose. Thus, in order for a player to win, he actually may have to help the opposing player to score points. Part of Puzzles and Games. | |
