Lottie loves Autumn and especially the changing colours of the leaves on the trees. Wrapped up warm in her coat, hat, scarf and boots, Lottie explores Lottieville Forest with her dog, Biscuit the Beagle, kicking her way through all the crisp, colourful leaves. Getting muddy, kicking leaves and building dens is just so much fun!
Lottie is thrilled to receive a party invitation to the Lottieville Masked Ball. Inspired by one of her favourite stories, Lottie decides to dress as a Snow Queen. Wearing a silver, sparkly mask and a magnificent ice blue and frosty white gown studded with silver snowflakes -- will any of her friends recognise her?
Lottie loves to dance and is really excited to be performing in the Spring Celebration Ballet at Lottieville Theatre. Lottie works hard to prepare and practices for hours on end to perfect her dance steps, including pirouettes and arabesques. Will the performance be a success? Will Lottie remember all her dance steps?
Spring has sprung and Lottieville is full of bright, colourful flowers, the smell of freshly cut grass, the distant hum of bees buzzing and the gentle flitter of butterflies across the meadows. Lottie loves to be outside and to enjoy a picnic in the garden, especially with her favourite strawberry fairy cakes.
Summer has arrived at last! The sun is shining and the sky is blue as Lottieville prepares for its annual Festival. Lottie is excited and is looking forward to live music, face painting, storytelling, and arts and crafts. Will the good weather continue or will the celebrations be spoiled by rain?
It’s my birthday today - hip, hip, hooray! There is something so magical about birthdays. Friends and family, party games, delicious treats and super scrummy cake!
Lottie is dressed in a delightful green and lilac fairy-inspired costume comprising a velvet-style bodice and petal tutu skirt. A cute bow hairband and sparkly gold ballet flats complete the look.
Lottie and her friends love to volunteer their time in helping Margaret, the gardener at the English Country Garden. Margaret is always full of interesting facts, such as how plants need water and light to grow. It was from Margaret that Lottie learnt about the lifecycle of the butterfly, how it changes from egg to caterpillar to chrysalis into a beautiful butterfly which then plays a very important part in the pollination of Margaret’s flowers.
It is Open Day at Harry Point Lighthouse and Lottie is excited to explore the lighthouse and find out how it saves ships and lives. A tall tower with a light at the top, lighthouses warn ships of dangerous areas and help sailors find out where they are, especially at night. Lottie learns about the job of the lighthouse keeper; the brave men and women whose task it was to look after the light and make sure it could be seen clearly at all times.
There is a pirate themed raft race at this year’s Branksea Regatta which starts at the pier and ends with a treasure hunt on Smugglers Cove beach. Lottie reads the tale of Grace O’ Malley, a real life pirate who lived many years ago in Ireland, and decides that Grace is going to be the inspiration for her crew. Grace’s father was a clan chieftain who taught her to sail and she eventually came to be in charge of hundreds of men and many ships and became a very powerful woman; a ‘Pirate Queen’.
Lottie can't decide what the best thing about going back to school is; seeing her friends, learning new topics, or meeting her new teacher, Miss Fiona. Miss Fiona encourages Lottie and her classmates to work together and to simply do their best, and reminds them that it's ok to ask for help. Lottie is determined to learn her times tables off by heart, with practice it becomes easier. In the playground Lottie is always the girl her friends come to, to think up new games and solve problems and when Lottie needs advice she turns to her special leadership cards.
Lottie loves the sound of the squelch of her boots in the mud, and it is great fun to find the deepest, muddiest puddle and jump up and down. Muddy Puddles is prepared for the rainy weather in New Zealand in her rain boots and yellow hooded raincoat with blue striped lining. Underneath she wears a long sleeved t-shirt, corduroy shorts and striped leggings.
Its a cold winter night and Lottie has found the perfect spot for stargazing. Wrapped in her warm jacket, hat, scarf and boots, Lottie feels as though she can see all of the space through the lens of her telescope. If Stargazer is lucky she might see a shooting star! Dressed in her vintage-style jacket and glasses, Lottie heads over to the Victorian Bandstand to listen to live music performances. It’s fun to listen to new bands and musicians, discover different types of music, and let loose and dance. Lottie isn’t the greatest dancer, yet she’s happy to do her own thing, and isn’t scared to march to the beat of her own drum, and be herself. After a day of music and laughter, Lottie heads home with a spring in her step.

Lottie Loves to be out in the countryside riding her pony, Sirius. A Welsh Mountain Pony, Sirius is cheeky, sometimes stubborn, yet very kind and loyal. Lottie is volunteering at Branksea Animal Shelter, helping to look after the homeless cats and dogs. One day a cardboard box is mysteriously left outside the front door with a hungry and frightened Persian cat inside. They decide to name her Pandora. Unlike the Greek myth, where a box brought unhappiness, here the arrival of Pandora is a cause for joy and fresh hope. Lottie helps to nurse Pandora back to health and make sure that her furry coat is kept clean and fluffy.

After months of preparation, Lottie is competing in her first gymnastics competition. The apparatus she is performing on is the balance beam and she’s ready to show the world just what she can do.
